Located in the heart of the city, it is the biggest in Tuscany with over 100,000 square metres (of which 65,000 are covered). It is part of the Fortezza da Basso with 55,000 square metres of covered area, the Palazzo dei Congressi (with a congress capacity of about 1,500 seats and an auditorium for 1,000 guests) and the Palazzo degli Affari, a modern multi-purpose facility of over 4,000 square meters with a total capacity of 1,300 people.
