The history of the Ricasoli family is also the history of the Palazzo located in Piazza Carlo Goldoni in the heart of Florence, along the banks of the River Arno.
It has belonged uninterruptedly to the family since it was built in 1474. Maria Teresa Ricasoli-Firidolfi still lives in it and she opens the doors of her Residence to guests looking for an authentic Florentine experience in a homely atmosphere.
The recent refurbishing has enhanced the ancient decorative elements, combining them with the comforts of modern living. The Palazzo comprises nine suites named after figures from the Ricasoli family, each with its own different aesthetic personality and furnishing, and a discreet omnipresent butler, always on hand to assist the guests.
